July is another summer month at the Dunes. considered the hottest month at the Dunes throughout the year. Average temperatures for the month range from 64.4 F (18 C) to 81.5 F (27.5 C).

August is the last month of the summer, at the Dunes, and it’s a hot one with temperatures ranging from 63.1 F (17.3 C) to 79.9 F (26.6 C).

September is the first month of autumn and it’s usually a hot month at the Dunes with temperatures ranging 55. 6 F (13.1 C) to 79.9 F (23.2 C).

October is another enjoyable autumn month at Indiana Dunes National Park with temperatures varying from 44.1 F (6.7 C) to 61.5 F (16.4 C).

November is the last month of autumn at the Dunes and it’s the start of the frosty months with temperatures varying from 34.5 F (1.4 C) to 48.7 F (9.3 C).
